Zirco-Blast was incorporated.
We have been manufacturing and introducing plastic abrasives for the for non-abrasive blasting to manufacturers, rubber parts manufacturers, specialty finishing companies, electronics and aerospace industries for nearly four decades.
Our plastic abrasive Type II is certified by the U.S. Air Force according to MIL-DTL85891 specifications. By providing superior blasting media, Zirco-Blast has grown into one of the front-runners in the plastic blast media industry.
We have a 40,000 sq ft manufacturing and storage facility and carry large inventories to cater for any volume required. All our media is manufactured in-house to ensure consistency and quality.
Common applications are blast cleaning molded leadframes in the semiconductor industries to remove flashes on components and heatsink. Injection screw cleaning for the plastic parts molders. Mold cleaning in the rubber industries. Paint and coating removal. Deflashing thermoset plastic automotive and electrical parts. Blast cleaning aircraft wheel, aircraft landing systems and turbine blades. Aircraft paint stripping. Cryogenic blasting to deflash rubber parts and engineering plastic parts. Blast cleaning 3D printed parts to have a smooth finish.
